About Me
My name is Karla. I am Canadian, and English is my first language. Like many Canadians, my family came from other countries. My ancestors came to Canada from Luxembourg, France, and England more than 100 years ago. I can speak French at an intermediate level, and I am learning Brazilian Portuguese.

Experience
I have taught adults and children for 15 years. My lessons can be formal or informal, depending on what you prefer. In all of my lessons, I help students improve their conversation skills. We also work on speaking, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening.
Education
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Alberta and a TESOL Certificate from Coventry House International in Toronto (TESOL= Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I also have a Certificate in Teaching English to Children.
